During my recent week-long stay at Atardecer, I was genuinely impressed by how this boutique hostel exceeded my expectations in several key areas. The shared kitchen was a delightful surprise, fully equipped with cookware and kitchen utensils that allowed me to prepare my own meals, which made my experience feel even more personal and immersive. I particularly enjoyed the lovely sitting area on the veranda, where I could relax in the hammocks and take in the breathtaking views of Salento-perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Don Antonio, the exceptionally welcoming host, made my arrival memorable by offering coffee and even soup, showcasing the warm hospitality that defines this establishment. The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a soft parquet floor and lovely hot shower, which provided the perfect retreat after long excursions. I can't forget the adorable hostel cats that added a charming touch to the environment, making it feel more like home. Atardecer is an extraordinary find for travelers seeking both comfort and value, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone wanting to enjoy the rich ambiance of Salento.
